The day that I write this is the 47th anniversary of the assassination of John F. Kennedy, the then sitting president of the United States. And, as many argue, perhaps the last true POTUS. The nine men to occupy the throne since have been figureheads, there to do the bidding of the shadow government. The muscle provided by the military industrial complex, the finances provided by the Federal Reserve.
We now have, in this fall of 2010, a total assault on what America used to be. Trips to the airport have turned into visits back in time to the days of the Nazi Gestapo, thanks to some botched terrorist attacks on planes within the past year. This past weekend have brought You Tube images of a young boy forced to remove his shirt and long lines at O'Hare airport in Chicago. A man with bladder cancer was covered in urine when the TSA was done with him. A woman with prosthetic breasts had to remove hers for her screening. It is the kind of searching where reason is ignored, and lunacy seems to be encouraged.
While this has been getting the attention of a mainstream media that struggles to get an audience, two other fronts against the American people go generally unnoticed. Senate Bill 510 would make sure us whippersnappers don't get the idea to grow our own food in the near future. Gee, why eat anything that might be good for you? Then there is the bill that would give the US Attorney General carte blanche to simply extinguish any website deemed a danger to the country, which I covered last Friday. We have financial policies that insure that if the country is in a depression, and that it never recovers from it. Like an elderly person kept in an institution so he or she can do no harm who is perfectly fine.
Not only is the country going down, it is going down with a very few people left attempting to save it. On this November 22nd, I think of the movie "JFK" where Kevin Costner, playing Jim Garrison in his 1969 summation in the trial against Clay Shaw, said six simple words, choked with emotion:
"Do not forget your dying king."
America has gone to the dark side. The people in power on both sides seem to have a destiny to destroy the country, built on freedom and liberty, replacing it with fascism and tyranny. Who will stand up for it?
