(source) The clairvoyant Edgar Cayce recommended tobacco in moderation for the health of the nervous system. ~The health benefits of smoking are rarely talked about because smoking is one of the most common causes of health problems and death. However, it has been noted that smoking may help reduce the occurrence of conditions like preeclampsia, and atopic disorders such as allergic asthma. These protective effects are attributed to the anti-inflammatory properties of nicotine, which interfere with these conditions. ~ For those people who prefer not to smoke yet still enjoy the benefits of nicotine tobacco tea can be brewed up from the leaf or chewing tobacco made with the leaf using good organic apple juice. Some non nicotine herbs can also be smoked with tobacco to add flavour or just on their own for a pleasant change. Tobacco plants are very easy to grow in warm or cooler areas around the garden or in large pots for a courtyard or deck. They will also give an abundance of seeds for your next free crop or seeds can be sold or given away to others for their enjoyment. So keep calm and smoke on. Enjoy.
