Thunderstruck and Poor
How could you do this to me?
Today a phrase heard very commonly
Typical of the savages who don’t want to hear your plea
Theft and deception they live with swimmingly,
What you ended up doing to me
I could hardly even foresee
Your conscience was like a burial out at sea
Still I nod my head how could this be?
As I squirmed in agony from your home made nightmare
I was amazed at you face having so little care
I promised I wouldn’t waste my time on despair
But really Baby you don’t know how to play fair,
Why should I even waste my time on this bitter rhyme?
What is Tequila without the bitter lime?
Still I’ll mull it over because I suffered the crime
Evil people like you are a dozen for a dime,
Living in a world where evil seems to succeed
One can never under estimate the level of greed
Everyone is capable of stealing if they have a desperate need
But really the powers that be are the evil seed,
Cursed by the memory of what was never meant to be
Lord have I tried to set myself free
There will surely be times when you wonder bitterly
Why did everyone turn their back on me even family?
We’re in a poisoned realm that is for sure
Few things remain that are truly pure
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
There are few around us who could resist the allure,
An assassin with a cold face as I lay on the floor
Struck by your cruelty who could have prepared for more?
Be sure to guard your heart whenever love knocks on your door
That illusion may leave you thunderstruck and poor.
