TSA is a joke. The owner of a major salon I use to go to told me that every time she traveled she would put little lotions, shampoos and scissors in her carry on. She showed me the scissors and they were ridiculously huge. She said, "not once did they find them." They often took her lotions and shampoos that were just over the limit in ounces, but never found the scissors. I asked her again, like, "come on, really?" and she said my name, paused, and said, "not once."
Now this is coming from a wealthy, intelligent business owner that knows very little about the infowar. When the right topics popped up I would always inject truth in a non-intrusive, educational, but respectful way. Never once shut down. She would admit to me that she didn't know a whole lot about politics and international relations etc. So she would pick my brain and I always saw it as an opportunity to warm her up to things.
Seemed like every other time I saw here she was just getting back from vacation. And this went on for a couple yrs before she even told me about the scissors.
So, when I have traveled in the last couple yrs, once out of the country and numerous times across the country, I conducted a little experiment of my own. I brought one of these, four times (Knife Comb: click here to view). I also brought another item, I'll guess to be about 4inches in length. Anyone with a basic skill in weapon fabrication could, with little effort and preparation turn it into a deadly weapon.
If they discovered the knife comb, just like the scissors, I could easily use my profession (martial arts professional) as an excuse. The other item by itself would be seemingly innocuous. But I was pretty sure they would go for the water bottle I put in there and the tube of tooth paste, or w/e I decided that day. And guess what happened every time? They would take my water bottle and whatever liquids or pastes I had. As for the other items? I made it through every check point no problem. Only hiccup I had was a gift I had boxed and wrapped (it was free wrapping so I saw it as an opportunity to try something different). I had to wait for about ten minutes for them to open it and examine it.
I played the cool customer, told them, "it's fine, I thought about it after I had it boxed and wrapped. Figured you guys might tear it up." I exchanged perverted grins with the TSA groper, waited patiently, and was on my way.
That's two out of two, that tricked their "check point" over and over. Not so surprising if you're paying attention. These TSA security checkpoints are not at all for security. They are for submission. It is a training exercise meant to teach you one thing: submit to authority, we're here to help you -- submit to authority, we're here to protect you. Reminds me of the Decepticon police car in Michael Bay's Transformers with the side decal, "To punish and enslave."
Their security would not stop a determined terrorist. Bottom line. It's all for show. They are the ones terrorizing us with their cursory, unconstitutional searches and seizures. Damn serial gropers...
With the presumed death of Osama Bin Ladin and the controversy surrounding the body scanners, what would be the next logical move for the elites? Police are crawling all over every potential terrorist target. They must have a reason to increase airport security to distract us from the body scanners, and get us to accept the new level of security and control they have planned. They need an event. They need to make a move on the chess board to make the last few count for something. It would not be imprudent to expect that event to come very soon. Osama Bin Laden, no matter when he actually died, has become a symbol not only to the Arab world, but to Americans as well. Regardless of the details of the truth of his death, it has been used as a means of influencing the public. The more people fear an attack, the more likely they are to accept the limiting of their civil rights to privacy.

Thanks Tara, I will. You're right and great analogy with the drunken football fans.
@Nikki, I think a 911 style attack with WMD's would do it. Between the missing suitcase nukes after the collapse of the Soviet Union and the WMD's we never found in Iraq, they certainly have options don't they?
I think it's time for another V campaign (or similar) to counter their latest move.
I'm so disillusioned with the American populace ever waking up, especially after seeing all these idiot sheeple blindly believing the "Osama Bin Dead Again" nonsense and cheering his death like a bunch of drunken football fans. As Nikki has stated, it's only going to take one more terrorist attack, either real or contrived before the zombie public fully accepts a full on police state. We are heading that way. Hopefully this will change but it's not looking too good right about now.
Great post by the way Krypke:) Keep them coming!!!!!
