Someone called me an asshole which started the name calling. Perhaps THAT person was way out of line and I was the one defending my position.

You posted an essay about the coming Police State. I used statistics to voice an opinion. That opinion is based on police hiring criteria. Police hiring criteria in most states is a high school diploma and one arrest, and drug arrests are OK. Then I made the statement that police are hired from the bottom of the barrel, not all as any intelligent person would understand but many if not most and because YOU have a relative that's a member of the police department YOU got bent out of shape and them DEFENDED the police AFTER posting an essay about War Wagons. That makes little sense as does your irrational comment that MY name calling was out of line since you failed to recognize that not only didn't I start the name calling but I wouldn't have if YOU, GREG AND SOME OTHER PERSON didn't all gang up on me at once and what's even more outrageous is that I was right the entire time.

Sheesh, you're just wrong. Period. You couldn't be more wrong. You owe me an apology. I already saw Greg's.

One can get tired after a while when one is attacked by several people on the same comment thread. I'm sorry if I offended you and admit to getting a bit lost but I was being railroaded by a bunch of ignorant people and you weren't one of them.

jeff,everyone needs to check themselves here.you tried to make me look stupid by coming of with words like "duh" to my comments on the LHC being used for evil purposes,then come back yourself and say" it could be used for good or bad".so no one knows it all.but i'll agree with you and gary about the constitution is flawed and places power in the hands of a few people.no one has all the answers,if they had we wouldnt still be fighting this.

Greg, you're abusive and that's just the facts.

Gary entered the comment thread and made a broad statement which I mistook and my very first comment back to Gary was that one might not want to pay great attention to his recommendation because I DIDN'T CHECK HIS LINK and I had misunderstood his comment.

So Gary commented back cordially mentioning that I probably hadn't checked his link and he was right, so I did check it.

My very next comment to Gary was, "You're right Gary, I'm sorry" because I realized I misunderstood him. Then, I realized further that not only did Gary agree with me but that he had written a well appointed essay about the subject of American history with the quotes to support his opinion which was the same as my own.

I have very frequently right here on 12.160 voiced the opinion that, in these words, "the US Constitution is a fatally flawed document written by the elite of that day, for the elite of that day" and I have voiced that opinion based on scholarly texts written by intellectuals. They're dry texts but they fascinate me. I've even written an essay about the erroneous support of the flawed Constitution and the founding scoundrels.

Enter Greg with, "ya don't mess with my woman and you don't mess with my Constitution" which is perhaps the most intellectually vacuous statement I've ever heard. Senseless in every sense. No supporting argument just "I believe because, so don't mess with me."

Well let me tell you Greg, you're wrong, period.

On top of that 2 other women show up and one of them says to me, "I don't care if you're right you're an asshole." Another intellectually vacant argument by a brainless twit who probably needs help getting the front door open. Even if I'm right I'm an asshole? WTF? Sorry pal, I am right and YOU ARE THE ASSHOLE.

I don't have patience for ignorance and Greg, you display ignorance frequently. I've told you time and again that I have no opinion on Global Warming because the science behind whether it's man made or not is still being argued. You do have an opinion and that's probably where this stems from. You've said to me that you don't want me to "scare the pretty women" away from the web site and that's probably where MORE of this stems from.

Let me tell you Greg, I'm not here to make friends or meet women. I'm here because not only is this country in trouble the whole world is in trouble and I'm damn tired of your short sighted egotistical uneducated remarks. Period.

There's nothing wrong with my behavior, it's your behavior that needs to be checked. I'll entertain an intellectual argument with anyone but when people resort to uneducated neanderthal tactics I simply lose patience as any intelligent person would and when they call me names or question my integrity for NO REASON, it has a tendency to piss me off but I still remain objective and don't call people names like Asshole.

I also posted a comment the same day on a post by a girl who posted an essay about the growth of the Police State. War Wagons or something like that.

I made a comment about the intellectual limitations of police officers. The fact, FACT is that one needs ONLY a high school diploma and can, in many states, have a minor arrest history, even for drugs and still become a police officer. I said specifically that the Police are drawn from the bottom of the barrel. That's not an opinion, it's a fact.

The same girl that posted this essay then came on and yelled at me because one of her close relatives is a police officer. AND YOU SHOWED UP AND SUPPORTED HER GREG.

Listen pal, not ALL of her relatives are police officers and I wasn't talking about her relative I was talking about the police in general and again, I'm right but because this little ignorant girl felt like I personally attacked her relative she defended the entire US police department on a post SHE POSTED about the Police State, and again, YOU DEFENDED HER.

YOU'RE A DUMBASS, probably here to meet pretty women and you speak with little knowledge and even less intellectual capacity and I've had just about enough of your utter nonsense so you can stick it in your ass pal.

I didn't say anything abusive to you either Greg, until after you began calling me names and I lost patience, not that it matters a great deal. I have less patience then Gary, I've been on this web site for a long time and for people that seem to want the truth most seem pretty set in their beliefs unable to recognize certain realities.

Someone once told me, I believe it was James, that there are many levels and stages to this awakening and we must respect the fact that we all are on our own paths seeking the truth. One thing that we must not do is throw insults at people for holding a belief. Nobody will ever want to listen to you if your speech becomes abusive in nature. This works the same way outside of the cyber world. If you cock off too many times to the wrong person, you might just get your arse kicked in the real world.

So are you Lisa, and I am right, that's what's frustrating. Defending people that are wrong is absurd, but keep on keepin on if that's what floats yer boat. Being wrong out of ignorance is no excuse for being wrong out of ignorance it's just ignorant. I've had it up to my ears with ignorant people and up to my forehead with dumbasses that defend their ignorance.
