We Are Change Meets Dubya
Well folks, this is my first blog entry here on the mighty Twelve-One-Sixty. It's just before 5pm ET as I type this, and I get this video from We Are Change St. Pete.
The We Are Change chapters here in the Tampa Bay area are on a roll. They spoke out when President Clinton recently visited St. Petersburg to support the Democrats candidate, Kendrick Meek. Then, somewhere along what looked to this blogger like US 19 in northern Pinellas County, they demonstrated their beliefs...right next to Marco Rubio supporters. The Rubio people didn't like that all too much.
And now, here's We Are Change Tampa at the Villages, this huge retirement community an hour and a half's drive north of Tampa along I-75. Our former president, George W. Bush, gave a speech there yesterday, and WAC was there. Again. My kudos to these brave people speaking truth to power.
