Am I the only one to have noticed that the Martin family got a one million dollar settlement from the insurance firm that insured the condo complex.

 
Seems that this has been missed by just about everyone.  I see on the news that the family lawyer is now talking about suing Zimmerman.  Guess $1,000,000 isn't enough for them.

Also there is some BS about the DOJ being pressued into filing some bogus 'Civil Rights' violation.  Maybe Mr. Martin should have been allowed to vote before he was shot?

This case has been a race-baiting case from both sides of the coin and what a shame!

The only reason this case has made the light of day to begin with is because a gun was used and a half white/Mexican neighborhood watchman was on the prowl of the hooded young black man up to no good. I think fear, like the common equation of the day made this another tragic tale of people not trusting one another. He probably watched too much TV or the news and believed in all the hype.

Anywhoo... he was the one that was armed and the deceased wasn't. So what now? If it was one of my loved ones I would be livid and crying out for justice... well not for the kind of justice by the Sharpton's or the bleeding heart liberals or the Uncle Tom's out there.

But I would still be speaking my mind and wanting justice for my loved one, period... end of story.

Just maybe he was not an innocent stroller as you stated, but also with that being said... a grown man with a weapon could not have wielded it and scared the said scary hooded black man off??? 

My daughter is around the same age as this youngster. She often wears a hoodie over her head at night or whenever. So I guess by your own admissions... she might be a not so innocent stroller herself. F that!

I don't for one minute think that Mr Martin was an 'innocent' stroller, just out for a walk on a rainy Florida night to go get some snacks.

People skulking around homes on a dark rainy night are called 'scouts' where I came from.  They are looking for something to steal, to find something left out worth coming back for or for them to tip off their friends of something to go after.  They are looking for windows left open with only a screen in place or a patio door ajar, perhaps for them to come back for or more likely to tell their pals about what they noticed.

Martin was out 'scouting' for things to steal.

Ok, maybe you will think differently one day when its one of your unarmed loved ones shot by someone, God forbid. This case has put the ugly in so many that it makes me sick! 

And it has not even been just the Sharpton's playing the race card either. Emotionally driven people on both sides of the coin or picking sides and playing right into the hand that feeds them.

My heart goes out to both families because this case like many others has turned into a three-ring circus and guess what? There are no winners. The media has won this war obviously. Both sides are pointing the fingers at the other but forgetting to whom the bell tolls.

Can't anyone figure out why this story is bigger than any other yet? It's meant to play on primal fears and emotions. They would rather have a nation of people afraid of one another than working together, black, white, Asian, Mexican, ectera... They want us to be divided for a reason. Think about it.
