The main focus, I feel, was the need to replace motherhood at home, put mother into the work force and the children in the hands of "care givers", teachers forming young minds.

TV shows are absolutely nothing but propaganda. Look at all the popular shows:

The dad is always a lazy bum, the mother is the strong one, children rail & curse their parents, make fun of anything sacred, at least one kid is always in trouble. The Simpsons, Married With Children, so many more.

I read many years ago about the 'tax' aspect and that doubling the tax base was a CIA project. Stealing the children and all that is good about children - imagination, playing, innocence etc. has worked out great for the making of a 'worker and not a thinker'. We now have women raising men, broken homes and stupid children.
