@ DTOM, yes I'm 72% Great Britain, 15%Iberian Peninsula (RH neg originated in the Basque Region), 5% Europe West, 3% Native American, 2% Europe East, and trace regions are Ireland, Italy/Greece, Scandinavia, and Caucasus.

@DS, I don't agree blood types are irrelevant. There's a book "Eat Right for Your Bloodtype" that many swear by, including me. The American medical system does not track medical history by blood type but other countries do. Some races are more susceptible to certain disorders and they would find similar trends with blood type.  In Japan they take it very seriously including dating by compatible blood types. And it's extremely important if a woman is RH negative to be aware of the blood type of the father of her children.

I find this all to be fascinating info because my mother is RH-. It's like unraveling a mystery wrapped up in an enigma though. There's so much more to learn about it all.

Good investigative work Nikki! So many RH- Presidents when it is rare? ... one has to wonder.

The JFK library says that JFK had 0+ blood type. But some of the autopsy reports said B+ blood had been ordered for him at Parkland. Either way, I can't find any documentation that he was RH negative.
Apparently, Obama is AB- which is rare for anyone of African descent. Bill Clinton is also AB-. And Jimmy Carter was A-. George Sr and Barbara as well as Reagan and Nancy were all 0+. George W most likely is 0+ too but there is always the possibility he was 0-. So can't find any documents on W yet.

We have a lot of members who are RH neg, including me. There was an RH Neg Ning group that had some mutual members with us, but unfortunately they shut down. They had collected a large amount of research material as well as personal stories. So sad.
