She's resisting probably because she didn't want to be separated from her baby in the stroller. There are police officers, then there are pigs.

she was actually pretty damn belligerent with the cops. Lol, maybe that one cop will learn though, not to double park, so it is easier to get the suspect into the back of car, lol fail on his part. But yeah, no sorry, the cop did not slam here into the ground, he was merely holding her stable until the the other cop came back around the car, and she belligerently jerked away from the cop and stumbled onto the pavement. At least that's what I saw. I use to live in Sf, and this actually a typical attempt of an arrest there, especially seeing that most the people the cops deal with there are under the influence of something like alcohol or crack or speed, etc. So really, this doesn't technically qualify as police brutality, it's stupidity on both parties side.

Doc, I respectfully see your point! She obviously was resisting arrest and seemed to have a disorderly conduct, whether it was drugs or alcohol, God only knows. I guess seeing this vid for the first time, I had a gut reaction just like most of us had. The one cop did smash this womans face into the cold concrete, did he not? For what.....resisting arrest? This is all the while her baby was present.

There should be no excuses for police that overstep their authority and manhandle the people they are suppose to protect. Like I said previously, they could have handled this situation much better. There were two of them and one of her with baby.....how much of threat could she be unless she was high on PCP or something of that nature?

It sounds to me like she is intoxicated, likely alcohol. That's no excuse at all for what happened, but it could be argued that it's a child endangerment issue. As others stated, not much information is given as to why the cops are there and from what I saw they could have handled it better, but I don't think she was totally innocent. Even cursing at the cops like that would get her charged with something likely.

That cop obviously threw that woman forcefully to the hard pavement causing her to lose consciousness. He lost his cool, shame on him I say! No matter what crime this mother had committed to lead up to this assault....yes, I said assualt.....they could have handled the situation much better, period!

And if they needed to arrest this woman, why did they have to arrest her when she was strolling her baby around? I don't get it. The baby could have been harmed. Unless she was abusing the baby, I don't see any other reason to arrest the woman when she had the baby present. I bet she had unpaid parking tickets or some other lame ass reason for them to arrest her.

Not all cops are bad and not all handle these situations like this I might add. Like the old saying goes, "it takes only one bad apple to spoil up the bunch."

JUM You don't get it; whatever her alleged crime besides the obvious resisting arrest, she is not supposed to be knocked unconscious by a couple of rookie screw ups who can't cuff one woman. These mooks should be driving a laundry truck not posing as public servants.

The first thing that I would like to know is what happeneded before she was arrested. Why were the cops there? They just don't catch mama's strolling with their babies, jump out and arrest them without cause.

The woman was resisting arrest. While the shove was a little more than it should had been, I do not think she would have gotten hurt had she not been yanking free.

The one I feel for here is the cop.
