“In America, the criminally insane rule and the rest of us, or the vast majority of the rest of us, either do not care, do not know, or are distracted and properly brainwashed into acquiescence.” – Kurt Nimmo
Trying to stay sane in an insane world.

What it really boils down to is this... it is human to err as well as it is human to escape from time to time. The natural defense mechanism in our brains to uncomfortable, painful and overwhelming situations is to protect us from ourselves in the darkest of times. So thus, we splinter instead of combusting.
But, on the same token... we have the ability to pick ourselves out of the doldrums and to create a better existence from growing from the experience and becoming wiser because of it. It is not good to stay in a fictional reality. And yes Less, it is madness.
I guess it a matter of choice... whether to sink or swim.
360 degrees is defined by humans, based on the number of days in a solar year, in this solar system. Who knows how many options there are in the spiritual world? Sorry about saying that because I got your meaning.
Who knows the direction?
There are two escapes from the current reality; one is insanity, the other is suicide. Or you rise above of the current false reality.
Escape from reality into another fictional reality? Does a person prefer to stick to his current state of existence, ignore realities, and remain in a dream world of illusions? That, for me is madness.
This really represents the disconnect that human beings have with reality and self, thus creating alternative realities whether in the mind or in the real world. It is a natural defense mechanism of survival when life gets too much to bare.
Here's a song by 'Daft Punk' who really delves into that disconnect and the repercussions of a generation losing self, being trapped within and forgetting whom they really are, human.
@5:00 mark you can feel the transition from fantasy, into the madness of reality, then back to fantasy.
I am almost certain this song is not about suicide. Its about going somewhere else in your mind when a horrible thing is happening and cannot be stopped.
