Mankind has just one week before the crossroads of eternity intersect on December 21, 2012. At no other time over thousands of years will so many life-ending doomsday cataclysms be scheduled for the same intersecting timeframe. And right on schedule, US astronomers were shocked to see Jupiter collide with an unknown galactic body while a 3-mile wide asteroid just missed Earth on Tuesday.

On Sunday, astronomers were shocked to see a 100 mile-wide asteroid crash into Jupiter (pictured here). Could a similar asteroid hit Earth, again?

December 21, 2012 Doomsday prophecy

For starters, we at Whiteout Press consider ourselves experts on the 12/21/12 Mayan doomsday prophecy, just as we were experts on the Y2K doomsday and the 5/5/2000 planetary super-alignment doomsday. And for the record, the Mayans never predicted much of anything, especially not a doomsday. The Mayans were simply the most expert timekeepers in mankind’s history, including us today. And their 63 million-year calendar ends on December 21.

In reality, 12/21/12 as far as the Mayans were concerned, was a day just like December 31, 1999 was to us. It signifies the end of a year, decade, century and millennium. Except that while the Mayans only ruled Mexico and Central America for about 2,500 years. Their extremely accurate calendar, giving time itself a start and an end date, spans 63 million years.
