Two Women Shot in manhunt for ex-LAPD cop
Los Angeles and Torrance Police were involved in two shootings in Torrance early Thursday morning after police came across vehicles similar to one sought by authorities in a manhunt for ex-LAPD officer suspected of shooting three other officers.
Neither incident involved the suspect, Christopher Jordan Dorner who was at large Thursday morning.
The first incident occurred about 5:30 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue and involved two women delivering newspapers in a blue pickup.
The women were shot by LAPD one in the hand, the other in the back.
Both were taken to local hospitals and are in critical condition.
The pickup was riddled with bullet holes and what appeared to newspapers were in the street.
Police said the women were riding in a truck similar to the one that suspect Christopher Jordan Dorner is believed to be driving.
The second incident, involved Torrance police at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street about 5:45 a.m.
No injuries were reported in the second incident.

This is the behavior of police all over our nation, do as we say, not as we do, is their motto. Police are being Militarily equipped for the eventual overtake of our government. Our nation is being destroyed, our jobs exported, and when a police officer tries to do the right thing, he must be punished. Don't squeal on fellow officers, be part of the crime, not the solution. Is this the America you want? When are citizens of this nation going to wake up and realize, the Terrorists are here, in our Federal Government BATF, IRS, FBI, Homeland Security (of which we have NONE) it's all spam, Global Warming is not caused by CO2, gas just went up 40 cents/gal, why? Will it go up more in April? America Wake Up. You can believe this officer will be shot on sight, dead cop tells no tales. Just Google Police Corruption and there are other sites with a daily list of police crime all over our nation. People stopped on the street, innocent, cops demand ID, demand to search you. AND now Homeland Security is getting ready to set up road blocks to demand motorists prove ID, demand they have a right to search you, your passengers, your vehicle, because they are looking for drugs, and illegal aliens. bull, it's the end of our Bill of Rights YOU can stop this if you Google MY NAME. WE must retake control of this nation for We the People, as our founders fought and died to give us. Our military have died in the name of Freedom for Americans, and we are losing this. i remember our brave cops killing a deranged elderly lady, because she was armed with a Screwdriver. Wow, can't take a chance on elderly ladies. When you need help, don't expect an LA Cop to help you, if theirs no money to be made for the cops, they don't have time for the nonsense of To Serve and Protect. The only ones they protect are themselves. I know there is that one in a million that really cared when they became an officer, but they soon lose any concern for citizens needs, and become part of the Blue Criminal party, or they are kicked out of a job. Go along with the criminal plans or get out. California brags, they take in about $3 Billion/year in money confiscated from motorists in the state. Did you know, it's illegal to carry cash, because it's probably Drug Money. YES our money tests positive for drug residue, but as far as the police are concerned, if you have too much cash, ( their description) then you must be a drug dealer, and they want to confiscate CASH for the department. Police in Tennessee stop out of state motorists, and semi trucks demanding the right to search for CASH that they claim is Drug Money headed back to Mexico, in fact officers from different offices compete to see how much money they can collect for their department. This is a sad Nation, and it's going to get worse.
