FORT BLISS - Gate Soldiers (Photo by Bobbie DeHerrera/Getty Images)

A recent investigation found that in 1966, the Air Force transferred the bunker to the Army without informing them the bunker possessed nuclear materials. Somehow the materials were lost in the loop.

Astonishingly it was also admitted that the bunker served as storage to rifles and weapons used periodically by soldiers, signifying that likely soldiers have been contaminated with radioactive particles.

The system as a whole is in a spiral downward, this is due to the practiced control. The system, our universe, the earth, its inhabitants, can not be controlled, all will follow the natural way of things. We will either survive or not, all will be replaced in its own time.

Having some background in this field, I question the voracity of the claim. There are many non weapons radiological sources which could have been in a combat readiness bunker. Unfortunately they weren't always given the respect they needed because of  a lack of understanding and education. To leave particulate contamination would require serious damage to a weapon, but other sources would have shed this type of radiation from wear or rough handling. Sources include: the check sources provided with every radiac (detection device), mishandling of these sources has caused illness and in rare cases death. xray and other non intrusive inspection devices, remember there was little respect given to the sources in these until the early 70s. The list of culprits goes on. I would suspect one of these before I suspected leakage from a weapon.

No respect is more likely the case, Piers. Even before the 70s to today, the Government, and those in charge of protecting the well-being of our Armed forces -- regardless of all the scientific proof at their disposal -- put soldiers and civilians at risk to exposure to radiation and a whole field array of carcinogenic contaminants. It begs the question: If they really knew how devious they are... I wonder which way those gun barrels would point?

I am not trying to down play any bodies ideas or information or intelligence, but I do have to say that it says, "the bunker possessed nuclear materials." not weapons. It does not state what kind of materials it was that has caused concern. This makes me think of an array of things that could be radioactive, such as spent uranium shell casings, actual nuclear waste from power plants, guns that fire armor piercing ammo and the list goes on. You get the idea. The testing of this facility to begin with seems kinda funny to me in the first place. Why would they do this? Could this be being used to try and distract us from something else that is taking place there, or could it be a jump to try and say they already held a news conference to disclose this information? Just thinking, any of this could be possible.

Hi Mystery, It could contain DU munitions? Not sure. I guess I made my point. Their track record for safeguarding soldiers and the public at large, is terrible.

Yeah extremely.
