Lincoln was one of the most evil despots this nation has ever seen. Of course monuments to most people in D.C. are to evil bastards. Seeing the Washington Monument go down in a recent movie about terrorism was one of the most heartening things I have watched in years. The "founding fathers" were not gods and the worship the American people throw at them is disgusting.

BTW I used to be a flag waving mindless patriot until I started actually reading the real documents of history including some of the stuff these assholes wrote in their private correspondence.

Back to A. Lincoln. The man threw anyone who opposed him in jail including many dozens of journalists who wrote against some of his policies. He deported a U.S. Congressman for making a speech on the floor of the House of Representatives that was critical of him.

He instituted martial law in a number of states and was publicly silent while privately supportive of the rapes and murders of women and young girls by Union troops in the South as well as the murder of pre-teen boys and infants. Not at all unlike Bush and Obama and their support of the same in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and many other places by today's military baby killers and rapists.

If some person someday found a way to utterly destroy this monument to a monster I would be hopeful that the country was finally waking up. I am not for violence against people but have no problem with the destruction of the idols of an Imperialistic US government.

Trenton is the capitol of New Jersey ... And famous for the first battle won by Washington in the American revolution .. The entire city has been vandalized and left for rabid dogs and drug addicts all monuments are trashed and probably pissed on by drunks .. I don't give a crap about the Lincoln memorial isn't Washington, D.C. A ghetto these days? And there's Detroit ... Its been left to crumble while the banks make money on wars... What we gonna do about it?

All empires eventually crumble. Read about the fall of the Roman Empire or the British. London was a rat trap for all but the richest prior to WWII then it was bombed and they rebuilt. Had the US not chosen empire over republic we would not have these issues.
It is not up to the people of the US to fix the problems of individual cities. It is up to the people of those cities to decide what they want and do it. Quit thinking it is OK to steal from everyone else in the US to fix a local problem.
Start neighborhood patrols and start also helping drug addicts and homeless people instead of having police throw them in jail. I don't live in any of the cities you mention, nor would I, but if I did I would be doing something instead of expecting the government to. Lots of things can be done with volunteerism and small amounts of money which can be raised through various local groups.
If you don't like where you live move or be the change you want. Help who you can. Even helping one individual is better than doing nothing. Most drug addicts did not intend to become addicts. Maybe the first one or two or twenty won't want any help, so what? Keep doing it because it is the right thing not because it will bring immediate change.
It took decades to get to this place. It likely will take as much time to fix it.

I helped drunks and addicts for a decade, I give money to homeless people without telling them what to do with it and if I thought I could change Trenton New Jersey I would. What killed Trenton is whats killing every city, all the manufacturing has been shipped over seas and there are no jobs, my parents moved out of Trenton when I was 7. I went back recently to the street that I lived on and caught hell from my family because its so dangerous cops don't even go there. Could it change? Maybe but you'd have to get rid of every drug dealer first and that "business " is so lucrative and protected by the so called peace officer that if you tried to kick em all out you'd probably end up dead and your whole family too just to set a precedence. I don't know what the answer is but it would take more than a neighbourhood watch to clean up Trenton .. It would take divine intervention and most people don't believe in that sort if thing anymore. My x husband was a heroin addict and a drunk I know all about being patient with them, but if you don't walk away in my case it took 15 yrs .. They will drag you down and murder your spirit if you let them. Maybe if the government didn't have soldiers guarding poppie fields in Afghanistan and allowed the drugs in on purpose we might have a chance .. The only dealer I care about now are the ones in the biggest crak house in America .THE WHITE HOUSE!

I apologize now that I see where you are really coming from. You obviously have done much and seem to be continuing to try to help those you can.

I do believe in divine intervention by the way and am praying for our cities. I know they are bad. I have lived in an number of them over the years. I do not think Obama is the first dealer in the White House. I think we as a people were dealt a load of poisonous crap from the beginning. Read Spooner's "Constitution of No Effect" if you want some idea about what I mean.

Obo is just the most recent in a long line of liars and shills who have convinced most of the American people they need a government to "help" them and give them guidance. Even the so called "founding fathers" did not think most people could adequately take care of their own business without the government else why not form free and independent states that would aid each other in time of attack instead of forcing all states into one Federal system. 

They did not trust them and that is still the problem government thinks people need it and people have bought the lie that they need a government when there is almost nothing that government does that someone else, (maybe anyone else), couldn't do better.

Lmao, Jim Carrey has weighed in on this via twitter. He says it is a protest against capitalism. This a-hole makes 20 mil a movie and has claimed he hates capitalism in the past. When will this brain dead Canadian freak go away? Hopefully soon.

Remember that Obama said he would "transform America" - well - I hope those who voted for him are happy with the changes.  He transformed it along with Clinton (NAFTA) and the Bush family into one big ghetto on drugs/violence.  As long as these "Chicago thugs" are in power things will continue to get worse.
