I saw this on the news the other night. Very uplifting to say the least. Considering the time, money, and effort required to rescue the poor pouch-reminds me there are still plenty of good people left in the world.

Dogs and humans are not the same and dogs can and will eat things (and survive) that humans won't.I won't go into detail. Dogs can and do live outside in freezing conditions which would soon kill a human.AlI humans cannot go very long without water and hypothermia (well I know some mystics claim to live on nothing for years) so unless trapped with food water and heating for over three weeks very unlikely.

 

And I too thought the dog looked far too healthy and fat. Hmmmm wonder if he ate.................or is this a con.

Perhaps the owner expired recently, yet lived long enough to care for his or her pet. The dogs reaction seemed to be that of desperation. I don't suppose it's impossible that it was a con/publicity stunt but I highly doubt it. Occam’s Razor is a scientific principal that says that the simplest explanation is most likely the correct one. Although there are exceptions to the rule.

 

If you watch the end of the vid, the dog does appear to be quite hungry.

Er a hungry dog would eat humans. I expect he ate his owner or others. I hate to be morbid but it happened in the concentrations camps and is considered kosher (humans will eat dead humans and if it saves life it is not a sin). Lol yea, come to think of it I don't think I have ever scene a dog that was not hungry either.
