years ago when I first saw cash registers @ a McMonsanto's with pictures of "food" instead of numbers, I realized then that the "Math" part of America's Great Education system was done. Now this phone texting & IM crap apparently ended the "English Language" part as well.

I was listening at the  Alex Jones Show the other day... and he had this lady there talking about how The Yale University Skull and Bones society been behind all this Education system reforms with the objective of keeping American students dumb and blind to any Knowledge  about History in general and the world.... so the Elitist can control them better....it was very interesting what this Lady was saying, according to her, her father was a member of that secret society.

I was jokingly referring to the catalog system for libraries known as the Dewey Decimal System

There are approximately 28.35 gm (grams) of the metric system in one oz (ounce) of the British Imperial and US Standards for weights and measures.

Another answer:

1 avoirdupois ounce = 28.35 gm
1 troy ounce = 31.10 gm (Troy ounces are used for weighing gold, and other precious metals.) 

1 fluid ounce = 29.57 ml
1 fl. oz. = 28.34952 grams

In order to simplify and avoid many shopping sprees I go for kilos !

No offense taken but you must realize that cannabis is akin to religion for many of us. I will stop "glorifying weed" when I see no other religious references on this site, because in my opinion, that makes people look worse than immature ,frustrated teenagers. Hope this isn't taken the wrong way.

I did not mean to imply that I was part of any 420 religious group or anything like that, I should have said spiritual instead of religion, my bad.

Without trying to be my usual cut up self, I honestly believe that cannabis/hemp is a part of nature that mankind is supposed to and should use. And this is why I glorify it.

There is a reason it has been deemed the third rail of politics.
