Chemtrails are going mainstream: Time Magazine

As we pump billions of tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, we're
doing more than warming the planet and scrambling the climate. We're
also conducting what climatologist James Hansen has called a "vast
uncontrolled experiment." In effect, we're on our way to engineering a
world very different from the one we were handed. Belatedly, we're
trying to turn off the carbon spigot, hoping that by incrementally
reducing the emissions we've spent a couple centuries pouring into the
air we can stop the climate slide before it's too late.

But what if we can't do that? What if it turns out that slashing carbon emissions enough to make a difference — and it seems that means cutting output at least in half by mid-century — is economically and
politically impossible? Do we need a Plan B?

A small but growing band of researchers are beginning to say yes. If we geoengineered the Earth into a mess with our uncontrolled appetite for fossil fuels, maybe we have to geoengineer our way out of it

the 2nd possibility: a random natural shift in temperatures

this wouldnt be the only other possibility, a more likely possibility is global temp increase due to an increase in solar activity.

This is a view many scientists and historians endorse, however this information is all too commonly ignored.

I don't have the time this second to elaborate unfortunately, however I believe it is important that this be included in the discussion

Right on James, I get a little tired of hearing people say that global climate change is a myth.
Despite the fact that the vast majority of climate scientists believe it to be true.

The argument is usually this, Somehow corporations are funding these scientists to work towards a goal that is not in the corporations interests. My parents and myself have worked around universities and have talked to Climate Scientists and have heard what their colleagues think. They make ok money but a lot of them could be making more money in the private sector. What I generally hear is that the Climate Models need a lot more work as they are based on inherently complex relationships. But there is no disputing the fact that global temperatures are rising so the only real question left is what is causing it. So in terms of climate scientists being compromised I would say no they are not, I would say if anything they are welling meaning and if anything a little tired of their message falling on death ears.

Their are two possible explanations commonly voiced.

1 Industrialization and human intervention in the global ecosystem is causing it.
2 A random natural shift in temperatures.

I think the climate scientists would say the chances of one being true are far greater, but I am unsure of the mathematics they use to arrive at that conclusion.

This is to important a issue to ignore. Political action is needed and fast. One thing you do hear from the Scientists is that the window of opportunity for reversing this phenomenon is rapidly fading.

Some hard costly decisions and lifestyle choices will need to be made and fast.
