Michelle Malkin asked last month, “Where in the world is jihad pilot Adnan Shukrijumah?”
Sources for the watchdog group Judicial Watch say they have the answer: The ‘Most Wanted’ al Qaeda terrorist was conspiring with narco-terrorists in New Mexico in March of this year.
Shukrijumah has been wanted by the government for over a decade. One of his aliases, Ja’far al-Tayar, translates to ‘Jafar the pilot’, according to Malkin. The federal government issued a material witness arrest warrant for him in 2003 and placed a $5 million bounty on him. In 2010 he was indicted by a federal grand jury on terrorist charges. In July, 2004 he was reported to have met MS-13 leaders in Honduras seeking the group’s help in smuggling terrorists in to the United States through the southern border.
A Judicial Watch report released this week puts Shukrijumah in New Mexico twice in recent years along with a fellow most wanted terrorist and two alleged narco-terrorist operatives.
“During the 2010/2011 timeframe, Karakrah and Huerta met with two of the FBI’s “most wanted” terrorists: Jaber A. Elbaneh and Adnan Gulshair el Shukrijumah (a/k/a: “Javier Robles”). The meetings took place in a private home in Anthony, NM. The four men discussed the movement of drugs, money and people.
“The plots were further planned by fellow conspirators at a “mosque” on Redd Road in El Paso, as well as two other “mosques” in the city.
“Karakrah, Huerta, Elbaneh and el Shukrijumah all met again in Anthony, NM in March 2014 according to Judicial Watch sources.”
The revelation that Shukrijumah was in the U.S. this year was part of a blockbuster Judicial Watch report entitled, El Paso: Nexus of a Narco-Terror Ring
.
The story stems from the August arrest in Chicago of Emad Karakrah on a charge of making a false bomb claim. Karakrah was pulled over while he was flying an ISIS flag from his car (or a Palestinian flag with the word ISIS written on it, there are conflicting reports.)
Judicial Watch describes Karakrah and his alleged partner Hector Huerta.
“Karakrah is a logistics and transportation operative for militant Islamists in the United States, according to sources close to the investigation. He moves people, weapons, explosives, drugs, money, and other materiel to terrorist cells operating in Chicago, Brooklyn, NY and Saddle Brook, NJ — among other locations across the United States. More than a decade ago Karakrah smuggled drugs and weapons for the Juarez drug cartel in Mexico. In July of this year, he was on a supply run to a militant Islamist cell operating out of a basement in Brooklyn, sources tell Judicial Watch. Keep Reading
