Good point !! Even though it may be "Entrapment", and most Jurors don't even understand the law or the use of informants, I have seen cases like the Rolodex madame where certain names were "sanitized" by San Diego Sheriff's detectives because well know personalities were in the "client file"(Some were law enforcement)

Reminds me of the Hoover days, when J. Edgar would keep secret files on everybody.

I did NOT know this, but supposedly J. Edgar had made a secret report regarding J.F. Kennedy and a Russian Female suspected of being a spy. Kennedy was transferred tot he Pacific on his PT-109 where his boat and crew were shot up and he saved them.(Coconut message given to natives) It is amazing what a little "report" can do to change history? Maybe things would have been different?

I also agree with  Ephraiyim ben Yisrael on NOT talking to the Feds or FBI as they will use anything they can to prosecute you. The U.S. Attorney's are scum bags !! They LIE for a living. Not like the old days where you could trust a Cop or Fed. Yes, they can lie to you, but they have to admit that in court when asked.

Pleading the fifth doesn't seem to work, since the common "Juror" is stupid and dies NOT know the law. When they hear a case, they lose track of facts and fail to keep proper notes and just want to convict based on what the charges are, or they believe the U.S. Attorney no matter what. Maybe it is better to talk to the Grand Jury? Or testify anyway? I am considered and "expert witness" and NEVER had one of mu cases kicked back. The FBI would not have any criminals without entrapment. Most of the former Black Panthers and other activists from the 60's and 70's were either entrapped or lured as a result of agent provocateurs in their midst who incited members that leaned toward more aggressive forms of protest. Many were just plain framed with false evidence and systematic propaganda released to the press to see to it that they were tried by public opinion.

Gee wait they still do that. Anyone hear Sandy Hook or Boston Bombing?

And be careful because the local yocals in spite of a few good guys like Mr. Carman are using the same tactics more and more. It is getting so one might be tempted to NOT call the police in the event of a problem but make sure you have self defense available and only report what is absolutely necessary.

BTW if you do not know. In the event you are arrested NEVER NEVER speak even one word. Don't tell them your name nothing. If they take your ID fine but don't even admit it is you. Just ask for your attorney. Period. Literally ANYTHING you say WILL be used against you. And The good Ol' Supreme Court says they can even lie to you. Hear that again A law enforcement officer can and WILL LIE TO YOU. They want a perp. If they can make you the perp their job is done and they can move on to the next case. You go to PRISON!!!

This is outrageous. These punk FBI people are abusers themselves both of the children and the CP addicts. This is like busting a heroin dealer and continuing to supply the addicts so you can catch them in the act of shooting up and then bust them. Cut off the supply sure but don't be the friggin' dealer.

The site had more than 5.600 users when it was shut down... at this point, I would say that the FBI already had it's hands full with enough child pornographers to chase after negating any need to try to lure additional perverts.  In a way, they're exploiting these kids in the same way that the pornographers are; they are using the images of these kids to satisfy a need.  Unless the parents of these children have been notified that pictures of their children are to be used in a sting operation, I believe that what the FBI did was highly illegal.  You don't engage in crime to fight crime... you shut down the operation.  The failed "war" on drugs is a perfect example.  If the US really wanted to end the problem, they'd send the military down into Mexico and arrest all of the major players (and probably a good number of CIA agents as well) but if we cut our crime rate by a considerable level, what would we do with all of the no-longer-necessary federal and state officers?

I understand,... I am also aware of "other" sites that are also maintained by the FBI or CIA which are related to committing "hits" on civilians for a price. They are so "hard up" for "targets" , that they are willing to maintain a site to illicit and entrap some low IQ suspect who is willing to pay with a credit card or PayPal.(now removed)

It is amazing what you can see on the Internet.

I am former law enforcement and I don't agree with the method of creating a "CP" site by the FBI which seems to add more fuel to the "fire" and Entrapment in my opinion. I have seen my share of perverted porn as part of my law enforcement duties during training, or investigating potential crimes. It is NOT a pleasant thing and does leave some lasting impressions on your mind. Only certain people can deal with that. You have to learn how to separate those images from real life.

When you are dealing with someone who is a Pervert, their mind set is not on a clear level. It is almost as if they have been introduced to a "drug" that makes them do crazy things.(Addiction) Once you realize this, you can try to do something to enforce the laws, but NOT supplying a PORN Web site!

Do you know how many Judges, Attorney's, and cops have fallen to such an "addiction" out of "curiosity?(Quite a few) I know of one "retired" Immigration Supervisor that was highly regarded and well liked, but was recently sentenced to 10 years for possession of CP. (Most offenders get 18 months to 24 months on average) 

Another case of an Assistant U.S. Attorney who got convicted of Child Porn or Pedophilia committed suicide while in prison. (I know nothing of his case)

If ALL websites were "blocked" somehow, it would make it so difficult to obtain these types of sick perverted photos. Adding CP sites to catch these sick people does not seem like the right way. These people are sick and need to be "treated" and if they can't be treated, sent to special "re-education" centers by force if necessary, to change their way of thinking.
