LAPD Officer Arrested After Allegedly Committing a Lewd Act in Public
An off-duty LAPD officer was arrested Thursday in Huntington Beach after allegedly committing a lewd act in public, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Ryan Galliher was arrested on Oct. 23 and was assigned home duty pending the outcome of the investigation, according to a news release from the Los Angeles Police Department.
After being notified, Galliher’s commanding officer responded to Huntington Beach and met with him, the release stated.
In addition to the criminal investigation, LAPD has initiated an administrative internal investigation, officials said.
