MARION — The North American Aerospace Defense Command will practice intercept and identification procedures between noon and 2 p.m. Thursday over northern Ohio.
The flights are scheduled to take place between Marion and Toledo. People in the area may hear or see NORAD-controlled fighter jets in close proximity to a military or military contracted aircraft, which will be playing the role of an aircraft of interest.
Although they are scheduled for the afternoon, the flights could be delayed or canceled by weather.
