The following is from my photomemory of an article in Science Newsletter before there was the internet. A wildlife manager found he had an unusual problem:

He had to count the number of male fish and number of female fish in a square yard of marsh...

He found that he could not determine what sex some of the fish were...because of physical abnormalities, . this had not been encountered previously...

An investigation was begun to find out wtf was going on... the results were chilling.. seems there was an industrial byproduct of papermills and the plastics industry that mimicked estrogen!

Estrogen is a relatively rare molecule in the human body, so anything that binds to the same receptors is active in very low exposures... 
Seems these chemicals have contaminated the entire food chain

Think about this.

Meanwhile the owners want you to think this: Hey kid, it's okay that we poisoned you...don't find out ordare think about such conspiracy theories by kooks,  see what wonderful people we are, now all the people we poisoned will not be made fun of, because we have made it socially acceptable to be a gentically engineered product of the military industrial complex's covert population reduction program.

Just one more stress vector on the organism, man, such as GMO grains, hydrogenated vegetable oils,  wi-fi/cell fones, flourides, all individually cruising below the public awareness...
