I think it's expensive to be unsilent in a 'cancel culture' environment like the one around us now. Speak up in the media and you'll be put down to the point of no return. Anyone who's not remaining silent or going along with the story can lose their jobs and reputation quickly as we have seen, usually when they bravely say what the rest of us is thinking.
