While this pandemic is going on, on March 12th The USA FREEDOM reauthorization act of 2020 is being reinstated and changed. If you go to www.govtrack.us you can pull it up and see all the add-ins and amended parts . "To amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 to prohibit the production of certain business records, and for other purposes." H.R.6172. It has passed the House, moving on to Senate.

To add why Gates stepped down, I knew someone who worked at Microsoft. Not a programmer, worked in the kitchen. Gates interacted with all of his employees and by name. Under the circumstances he wouldn't be advised to continue that kind of interaction. He is said to prioritize his time with philanthropy. More diabolical effort to create population control vaccines and mosquitos.

Cynthia, I'd say at the very least Bill Gates and the other CEOs of major businesses stepped down because they had advance warning that the epidemic would get really bad. I would wonder if any major international financiers were "retiring" from public life as well, as well as long-term intel agent chiefs and generals.
