Desiree, you were always somehow in the way
But, you never had the guts to stay
You always got by on your looks so you never paid
You were Daddy's little girl so you were allowed to play,
Desiree, you never had that much to say
Especially when you decided to stray
I remember the day that you went away
Just another life that you blew away,

You used rejection to keep me at bay

Scorched earth in the aftermath when you went away
Now I survive just day by day,

You were not the person that you would say
Only a wounded soul who blew me away
No one ever stays together anyway.

Mr. Sizzle, that was hilarious and much more truth there than most people could believe. It really as absurd as it seems is the actual truth! I've seen that one before but it was very instructive to watch it more intently over again. This is the sad realization of our society today. I remember an old quote, tell me if you've heard it. "Opposites attract" that is probably true, but the extension needed to make that statement complete is, "but they do not last."

I am off work from the 3rd of June till the following Monday. That will allow me to catch up on building machines, etc. I'll make and send you an Augur device, etc. I think you'll find what I call the "Cashier Effect" most interesting. And useful.

I wouldn't say "no one" stays together. I hope, and so should you. There are good women out there. There is somebody, for you, and for me. It's just a matter of finding them. In addition, you have a friend who is working on turning back the clock, at least somewhat, and that research is going swimmingly so far. Take heart.
