Pentagon plans for telepathic troops who can read each others' minds... and they could be in the field within five years

The U.S. Army is dedicating millions of research dollars into discovering building helmets to allow soldiers to telepathically communicate with one another on the battlefield.

The technology, which seems like something out of a science fiction novel, would use electrodes to pick up code words that soldiers were thinking.

Those codewords would then be transmitted back to a computer where the soldier's position and message- telling, for instance, that it is safe to progress towards a target- which would be transmitted to their peers in the field.

Rumors that army intelligence was determined to use mind control technology to their advantage have been milling around for decades, and have been shrouded in a mix of truth and fiction.

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) was established in 1958 and was dedicated to expanding the Department of Defense' technology usage, some of which included state-of-the-art, and top secret, research into the mind.

@KRYPKE, it's moving along quite a bit from the plan laid out in the Airforce 2025 documents (1995-1996 study)

@Maria LOL :D

Can recommend: Crazy rulers of the world documentary series 3 parts. "The Men Who Stare at Goats",  "Funny Torture" and "Psychic Footsoldiers" great series.

Yep, they want an army of drones. I have documents in my personal collection going back to 1999 and 2000 where the Air Force openly admitted they wanted at least 40% of their tech to be drones. Since then manufacturers have stopped production on the top two US military fighter jets. They're not making fighter jets anymore but guess what is in production? Mmmhmm, you guessed it...

Yep, I second that.

More than likely the money will be syphoned off for other projects, most likely autonomous combat droids.

...that's if you don't take into account the rule that says 'any current military project/ technology that is announced in the public domain, has been in place for the past 5-50 years'.

The agenda is to remove the human component from the military. The PTB want an army/navy/airforce that won't question orders or baulk at carrying out duties that would be deemed unconstitutional or just plain inhuman.

If it goes that far, in 5 years DARPA will simply compile a report that states that the project was a failure.

diks can't even keep the battery's in those drones from malfunctioning now, those radar range cookers in the airports don't work (xcept for cooking you), doubt this is implemented in 5 years, their not as brilliant as ya think, they just want ya to think they are. Combine that with the IQ of today's youth.....be lucky to mind meld w/ a tickle-me Elmo on E :)
