(TeaParty.org) – Democrats are keen on making America the nanny state of the entire world and bringing as many “refugees” into our country as possible. They would have you believe they’re motivated by compassion, but far from it – illegal aliens are their top supporters, and there’s nobody else to vote for them if Trump and his allies cut off their flow of illegal immigration.

Now a top Democrat just revealed his new plan to ensure that illegals will forever have a place to stay and that our immigration crisis will never get put under control.

Freshly inaugurated New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy has announced his agenda to build a Garden State, a sanctuary for extreme-left policies that includes a first-ever government program that will pander and protect the “rights” of foreigners – both legal and illegal, reports The Daily Caller.

Many other Democrat-controlled states have non-cooperation policies with the federal immigration authorities, but Murphy is going to lead the charge in a whole new kind of left-wing defiance – he’s developing an entire government office designed to help immigrants move around and bypass other ones. This is nothing short of a bloodless Civil War on our hands.

Murphy is a former Goldman Sachs employee who rode in on a blue wave after Chris Christie left the governor’s office. He’s taking advantage of the anti-Christie backlash that brought him into the seat, and has completely taken over the state to use its citizens as lab rats for the “progressive” social experiment.

Along with turning New Jersey into a multi-cultural paradise, he plans to institute a massive tax on billionaires and hike the minimum wage to $15 – within a year Trenton could be looking just like Detroit and Chicago. He’s bent on turning his state into another fortress in the Democrats’ perpetual war against Donald Trump.

“It would be a place where everybody could call with questions about their status,” Murphy said. “Our guess is it’s going to be legal-services-oriented. One remarkable thing, and you probably have seen this, the rumors that swirl around communities are extraordinary, and it’s literally hard to get, particularly if you’re undocumented, the right answer to your question. That’s when people go back into the shadows.”

“This state, under the current leadership, has gotten into the belief that if I give something to you, it comes at my expense,” Murphy said. “That’s a myth. Raising the minimum wage does not take from growth, it adds to growth. Earned sick leave gives workers a lot more confidence and adds to their participation in the economy. Equal pay for equal work isn’t, ‘Here, I’ll give this to you.’ It’s confidence, it’s participation.”

“We’re going to stand our ground on anything we find unacceptable, and unfortunately that list is long, whether it’s immigration policy, it’s offshore drilling, or it’s an awful tax plan,” Murphy said. “We’re not going to compromise on American values and our constitution over here” — he spread out his arms — “just to get a deal over here. That won’t happen.”
