Yeah Bryan, 9/11 is great place to start.
But I always use the "secret science of debt".
I say, forget for a moment that we're fighting to survive, let's pretend we're in a plane looking down ... well, all that money down there but all of it, is debt, I say, the bankers have taken from us our right to create our own money and we have to borrow from them with interest. 99% of them stop and listen, then I say good bye handing over to them a DVD I've copied with 4 videos, America: Freedom to Fascism, Kill The Messenger Sibel Edmond's Documentary, The Secret of Oz, and a 5 min clip from youtube with Dan Rather at the Pentagon, and eye witnesses at the WTC telling reporters about bombs blasts Richard Gage and a few others.

9/11 is the best place to start for anyone that wants to start. it's the reason we are in this deep, but it goes so far beyond that.

these people are deluded ,they have no understanding of physics and 911 comes down to "physics" ...the events of the day required the use of explosives ,full stop!
