 I looked into this a few years ago. An individual with a hat and a cigarette holder like Thompson's was introduced to the surviving members as "Hunter Thompson, the journalist". A surviving teenaged participant testified that the camera man introduced as "Hunter Thompson" was not the same individual as Hunter S. Thompson, the journalist. Hunter S. Thompson has been defaming vicious murderous members of the American government and elsewhere since the 1960s. The book and movie "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" spins a yarn of his and a friend's assault on Las Vegas as a hotbed of self-indulgent reptilian thinking in a culture so desensitized to violence, it can accept the image of "their own dead grandmother climbing up their leg with a knife clenched in her teeth". The U.S. is murdering innocent people in over ten different countries and the majority of 'American citizens ' do not possess the presence of mind nor the class to act on or offer up any criticism of this behavior.

  So who really deserves condemnation? The American culture programmed by the CFRtv "to the level of dumb beasts", or a cheap shot accusation by the worst of these reptiles that did not stand up in court?

I've been looking into this Grove Incadent and was wondering .

1. What year was Hunter supposaly at the Grove?

2. And, How can I get a copy of the video that is now longer availably off of YouTube?

Man...I love his books >_>, although it doesn't sound far fetched, not for him anyway.
