The footage shows a 9-year-old boy walking down the road when a uniformed police officer runs up to him and grabs him by the arm, causing the boy to fall on the ground. Another policeman then walks up to them and kicks the screaming child.

After that, the soldiers let the child run away, and leave the site.

The video was recorded by a volunteer of the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories (B'Tselem) on the June 29, 2012 in Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank. According to the cameraman, he began to shoot the video when he saw the officer ambushing the boy behind a wall.

Eden Oreu, an Israeli high schooler from Gedera Regional High School, who was also one of hundreds of Israeli Facebook users that reacted with pride and joy, and incitement to violence and murder, on seeing this video commented: "Channel 2, YOU ARE THE GARBAGE OF THE STATE, ALL RESPECT TO THE BORDER POLICE OFFICER AND IT'S A SHAME HE DIDN'T PUT A BULLET IN THE HEAD OF THE SON OF A BITCH VIDEOGRAPHER WHO DOCUMENTED THIS."
