Protesters give Sotheby’s clients rough reception November 12, 2011 01:25 AM

NEW YORK: Union workers and Occupy Wall Street activists gave a rough welcome Wednesday to well-heeled Sotheby’s clients as they arrived in limousines to attend an auction of contemporary art in New York.

More than 100 protesters screamed abuse and blew ear-splitting whistles as men in suits and streams of thin women in expensive jewels and high-heels entered the glass-faced Sotheby’s building in Manhattan.

“Shame on you!” they chanted. And: “You don’t deserve it!”

The demonstration was organized by unionized art handlers at Sotheby’s, who say they’ve been locked out of the company during contract negotiations. Their numbers were bolstered by members of the Occupy Wall Street protest, which is centered on a camp in a park in the Financial District.

Sotheby’s responded in a statement that it was trying “to bargain in good faith” and wanted all the handlers back at work.

“We appreciate and respect our union colleagues who are important members of the Sotheby’s community. This is why we have offered them a very fair contract, which includes wage increases in each year of the contract,” Sotheby’s said.

The atmosphere became hostile as enraged demonstrators yelled at the elegantly clad art collectors, forcing them to walk the gantlet under escort of police and black-suited Sotheby’s security staff.

A huge blow-up rat and another blow-up effigy representing a “fat cat” clutching a worker dominated the sidewalk, while Sotheby’s employees looked anxiously out from the glass-walled lobby.

“Art for the masses,” protesters yelled, “not the upper classes.”

Protester Ellen Friedland, who works for a non-profit group helping immigrants, said she came to oppose “union busting tactics … It’s another way to undermine working people in this country.”

The deafening whistling, trumpeting and yelling penetrated into the Sotheby’s building. But once up in the cavernous main auction room on the seventh floor, the only sound was that of the auctioneer selling Andy Warhols, Damien Hirsts and other mega-stars of the contemporary art market.

Sexual Assaults Reported in 'Occupy' Camps

Alleged sexual assaults at Occupy Wall Street camps have raised concerns about security in a handful of cities, including reports of rape and groping in tents at New York's Zuccotti Park and a sex offender in Dallas having sex with an underage runaway.

At a revival meeting Less of the dead would be going to Hell for an eternity.    However, that is debatable now-a-days with the emerging church, Calvinism, Word Faith, Catholism, Prosperity,  and Charismatic movements.    Never heard of a heart attack at revival meetings especially when they are sitting in chairs.

I'm not demonizing the event based on the marchers because they have no idea what  they are involved in.   Its not a matter of agreeing; the evidence speaks clearly of this conspiracy.   I know their agenda and the depth of this conspiracy is beyond what most of them have any idea.   Dealing with the bankers will not even dent the problems.   On Thursday, I'm on a radio show to speak about what steps might even remotely be used to so called deal with this conspiracy.  However, the reality is the one world government will happen eventually.   We are to resist it with all means possible minus the violence.   Romans 13 dictates our actions and Revelation 17: 12- 14 and Daniel 7: 23-24 is the next step.   This does not mean that we do nothing; but we choose in accordance with Gods word what we do.

You could try to convince me; however, its the small matter of facts that confirm the existence of this conspiracy that goes back just in this country alone to the start of the conspiracy on May 1, 1776 to now......every objective to accomplish this has been obtained except for the objectives in the U.S. during the 20th century.   The major events were in 1933, 1962 time frame, 1974 and 1999.

I"m realistic and deal with the true factors.   I can't operate outside and into the realm of fiction or the veil that they have spread over the truth.    There is no religious spin; the spiritual factors are the reality.  The New World Order is the ultimate aim.      Yes, those people in the OWS are a mixed bag of ordinary citizens, some with no job being paid to be there, and a small percentage are there to set up these "innocent citizens" for a fall.     They are being used.   They are marching for change but the marching is being financed by the very ones that they are marching against.
