Realplayer is an abomination to Windows OS, its almost as bad a AOL, this thing inundates and gobs up the windows directory w/ so much crap, I hate friggin bloatware ;)

after thats setup, goto a b00btube page w/ a vid you want, under "share" in YT, copy the main link (or the embed code, it does either)you will magically see the vid get loaded into Jdownloader, there you have many options or choices of the type made for that 1 vid, example: 240,360 or 720 resolutions, and also the type of container (avi, flv, and even MP3) these appear in the "Link grabber" tab....highlight the one you want then right click and choose "Continue with selected link(s)"....and in a couple minutes, it will be on your drive ;)

(Java based app, so make sure your java client is up to date)

In most cases it works and plucks the vid from the site, no matter format or type of site.

Comment by robertk1968 on April 18, 2012 at 2:07am: The title came from a video on Youtube which explained that this video was taken down within 1 hour of being uploaded. Not sure whether you can record this if you sign up to VIMEO, however if you have programs like 'snagit' you should be able to copy it.
