What does the "work ethic" mean? Why is it a "thing?" Link to "Trusts:" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sy6zaLsCR-E

Good job. We're still adapting to industrial, technological society, and probably always will be. As Stefan Molyneux said, women, until relatively recently, were handicapped by childbirth and child rearing. They were needed to produce more people. I would add, until various technological advances produced a vast population boom. The work ethic, in the boomers and their parents (and before) can be said to represent a positive trait, in that men supported their families with hard work in factories, construction, etc. If you didn't, you were considered, by various names, a "slacker". Now single parent (female) households are incentivized, as is an apparent inability or unwillingness to work.
