I agree with the rich guy with a pipe dream, it's cool and all that, but a useless rock that someone will find in 10,000 years and marvel at our wisdom? Or are we going with aliens?

Who knows exactly? Some one or some group went to extreme measures to have these created and placed at that exact spot. No one know the true name of the one who had these stones placed there.  It would have to be someone with knowledge of ancient languages. Now who would have access to and knowledge of those languages?  Why were these stones placed in a rural area of Georgia of all places? Instructions had to be given as to the exact placement of these stones. Who actuallly placed the physical stones at that location? The contractors for transportation and placement of the stones must be still alive or are they? The list of statements on the stones have one that causes the most concern. The reference to keeping the world population at 500 million.  I have seen a reference to the population of 500 million somewhere else. I am trying to remember exactly where I have read that reference. When I find it I will post it here.
