Yes, by logical to them I mean that they they've designed the system to benefit themselves, not the rest of us.  Then they try to explain it so that it seems rational to us.  Since most Americans don't have a knowledge of how the economy works or how it should work, they don't the difference and think the 'experts' will somehow fix the situation.

Marc, nothing politicians and central bankers do seems logical to the rest of us.  But from their perspective it makes perfect sense.
