Damaging Staffer Admission: Rand Paul Is Just Playing A Game

Matt K. Lewis - BLOG

The Free Beacon is out with a tough piece on a Rand Paul staffer who has a rather colorful past.

Frankly, this sort of thing is why I warned back in January that Paul would have a hard time winning a general election. But while most people will focus on Jack Hunter’s past “neo-Confederate sympathies,” arguably the most damaging part of the story comes toward the end, where Hunter seems to confess that Rand Paul is in the process of conning the pro-Israel lobby, neoconservatives, and other mainstream conservatives. Here’s an excerpt that might prove especially damaging:

“When libertarians and paleoconservatives balked at Paul’s remark last January that “any attack on Israel will be treated as an attack on the United States,” Hunter downplayed the comment as a ‘little rhetorical concession’ and said the senator was ‘play[ing] the game.’

If true, would be a good thing, no?

Only HaShem knows :)

Yeah, I don't even try to know any more. That's what AJ is spitting though.

Whole thing looks like a Cock Block 360 to me.

Rand Paul Preaches “Peace Through Strength" & Militarism Abroad

Rand Paul giving his assent and kind recommendation that the US continue to enhance its role as the “World’s Police,” or as the US Navy puts it “A Global Force For Good.”

The slow, sad reveal of Rand Paul as a Neocon has taken yet another step forward, via the written words of Rand himself in a recent article to ForeignPolicy.com. The article, titled “Peace Through Strength,” virtually sums up Rand Paul in 2013: Half the GOP stooge we never thought he would be (we were wrong), while at the same time peppering in some libertarian thought – however far too much of the former and far too little of the latter.

Rand’s article doesn’t mince words – he lays out very brazenly his views that the United States should apply its “military might” more often, more quickly and more broadly in order to maintain our role as the world’s peacekeepers and assure our safety at home. He begins by using the hackneyed old example of the Cold War to back up his vision, drawing on scare tactics and the threat of nuclear holocaust even though the circumstances then and now are drastically different and it’s absurdly ridiculous to compare a global superpower spanning half a continent to the likes of Iran or Syria. Said Rand:

Peace through strength. It’s a philosophy that guided the United States to victory in the Cold War and a policy that protected us from the calamity of nuclear war. But in the heated debate over Syria, our commitment to this approach has wavered — and it’s time we reasserted its prominence.

Yes, because Syria (which poses no threat to the US in any way) used chemical weapons during its civil war, the US has to reassert our military dominance to dissuade them from…what? How are these related again? They aren’t, in any way. Moving on…

Some say that America’s credibility was threatened when President Barack Obama drew a red line on the use of chemical weapons and then allowed the Syrians to cross it without repercussions. We couldn’t disagree more — that would be a profound misreading of Obama’s response to the Syrian civil war. Our nation’s democratic principles give priority to the voice of individual liberties and freedoms. We will defend them with all of our nation’s might. We will not allow any nation or group to terrorize the free world — now or ever.

Did you see that? Yes, that’s Rand Paul giving his assent and kind recommendation that the US continue to enhance its role as the “World’s Police,” or as the US Navy puts it “A Global Force For Good.”

Did anybody else see Rand Paul's speech at the Values Voter summit?

Senator Rand Paul Values Voter Summit 2013 FULL SPEECH.

A former US Senate candidate says Republican Senator Rand Paul, a potential contender for the 2016 presidential elections, has sold himself to the Israel lobby, becoming the Neville Chamberlain of the libertarian movement.

Mark Dankof, a political commentator and broadcaster in San Antonio, Texas, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Wednesday while commenting on independent US Senator Angus King’s warning to Republican senators against their efforts to sabotage Iran nuclear negotiations.

'Rand Paul sells himself to Israel lobby'

knew this guy was up to something, been calling him controlled opposition for a while now

need to sever all ties to that place...AND QUIT SENDING THEM BILLIONS EVERY MONTH

Rand, we hardly knew ya.....lol

C-ya sellout

Odd

WTF??  What Insane Assholes would Support Israel?  The Rogue Enemy that pretends to be your friend, but can't wait to stab you in the back like an enemy!

Exactly what assault is Obama doing against Israel?  He has just offered Isra-Hell another 70 Billion Dollars of American Tax Payers Money.  It is the same as a burglar coming into your home and getting you to pay for his friend's Bail money, it isn't bad enough that the burglar is living in your home, eating your food, using your resources and Crapping in your toilet, he had to raid your Bank account so as to send it to his criminal friend (who happens to be a killer) to keep him out of jail!  That is the relationship between Obama and Israel!  All are Crooks, but the worst is Israel, they control that Idiotic Muppet, Puppet Slave!
