When it comes to Moammar Gadhaffi, I have reasons for defending this guy from all the character-assassination he has had, since he led the coup with full support of the citizens of Libya. In 1972-3, top leaders in the organization I worked with for 20 years, became friends after meeting him at a London night-club.

 

He invited them to be guests of his in Libya, and they stayed with him for a few days or so. They were very impressed by his friendliness, and hospitality. I have paid attention through the years, occasionally, when I heard something in the mainstream news.

 

What other people have to say about him, when they never have met him, and only echo the parrots in the media, does not bother me. One thing which sticks with me, is that he sincerely cares about the citizens of Libya. Not only does he care about his own country's citizens, he was the only leader in the region, who supported justice for the Palestinians.

 

This speech seems that it was after Obama's 2008 election, and the only mistake I see, is that he never studied the U.S. Constitution, which is why he is not aware that Obama never qualified to rule the U.S.

 

Aside from that, the only fault I find in him is that he gave assylum to Idi Amin, after he carried out a massacre of Disabled People in Cambodia.
