CIA whistleblower charged for leaking torture secrets
A former CIA official who publicly confirmed the waterboarding of top Al-Qaeda operative Abu Zubaydah was charged Monday with leaking classified information to journalists, including the identities of two CIA officers.
John Kiriakou, who served with the CIA between 1990 and 2004, was charged with violating a law that makes it illegal to disclose the identity of a covert officer, leaking classified information and lying to a CIA publications review board, the department said.
He faces up to 20 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

And, we call this life we have :Freedom" we call it "Democracy" Well I can only call it "Criminal" what these covert operatives do. And, they have done these things to innocent people as well. Time for accountability in Government, from the President down to the cleaners. We are all living in the greatest hoax ever, and we call it "Life on Earth" I call it "Hell on Earth".

Former CIA officer John Kiriakou is sentenced to 30 months in priso...
By Justin Jouvenal,
A former CIA officer who was among the first to go public with details about the agency’s use of waterboarding and other interrogation techniques was sentenced to 2½ years in prison Friday for disclosing a covert operative’s name to a reporter.
John Kiriakou, 48, of Arlington has portrayed himself as a whistleblower concerned about the use of the harsh tactics, but U.S. District Judge Leonie M. Brinkema emphatically rejected that idea in federal court in Alexandria.
