P{lease join me at this time of year when another Canadian Forces family must be told that their loved one who is in Afghan. was killed yesterday by an I.E.D. My country's loss now totals 134 military personnel killed in the country while on the hunt for Bin Laden and the Taliban.

Greg, this money is coming from you, your kids and their kids. I'm retired and I'm telling my kids to go on Welfare and to be certain that their kids collect Welfare, so, thank you Greg!

Just kidding about the Welfare part. You know where it's coming from though. I know it was a rhetorical question. What I wonder is why we can't afford to give more money to people losing their homes or collecting unemployment and Social Security.

This is the first year since its inception that Social Security recipients will not be getting a raise but their medical premiums, especially part D, are rising. So are energy and food costs, conveniently removed from COLA figures several years ago. Of course energy and food are the two costs that rise consistently so removing them from the equation only makes sense, for those paying, the elite.

The Afghanistan people, just like most of us, are pawns on the chessboard of war, drug dealing, profit and politics.

I do have to agree with them, Obama should be jailed, tried and hanged, but there are 535 mini-Obama's who deserve the same justice.
