It's a good news that the UN is doing something useful. Remembering the rotten roots [1] of the whole organization, a question remains; why? The reasons are twofold. First, the global governance tends to make apparently conflicting news in order to confuse the people. We all remember how obedient the U.S. government and especially Israel have been to UN resolutions. Frankly speaking, it's all nothing but a charade. The drone strikes will continue and expand as if nothing happened. This kind of news also has a tranquilizing effect on people who think that the problem is now solved when in reality we should push harder for banning of the drones and other cowardly killing techniques. 

Second, the UN and it's co-conspiring subdivisions have to keep their humanistic facade up so that their real intentions can be hidden [2] [3]. They are also desperate to show that they are useful and the money that is pouring to them is well used, while the reality is the opposite.

Don't be fooled to believe that the United Nations is a good organization!
