He really said this!?!

His reasoning: “Middle-class kids don’t get locked up for smoking pot, and poor kids do … And African-American kids and Latino kids are more likely to be poor and less likely to have the resources and the support to avoid unduly harsh penalties.”

What a bullsh*t reason to legalize anything! Like any of them give a sh*t about poor people of any color, what a fricking joke. If they did there would not be any "poor" people of any color or race!!!

If he does back a new law for legalization of marijuana it will be solely because of prison over crowding due to people imprisoned for pot crimes. To expensive to house, clothe and feed.

I am not being angry at you Maria, I am sry if anything I said appeared that way or I offended you, but this "reasoning" by obama just set me off. He has some nerve and other agenda, its not to benefit us "poor" folks. That's such a joke. Really pisses me off when he thinks we are so stupid, "cause we is poor"! If the government would crawl down off my back I would be doing ok, if I did not have to pay so damn many TAXES on everything plus INSURANCE on everything even a damn dog now, (if you go by the laws)!!

I live on property that taxes have been paid on for so long, my ancestors and I could have bought the whole damn county. If I don't pay my taxes the government will come and take my land. How is that right?

It is not for the poor, black, brown, white, red or yellow. TPTB have something to gain or it would not even be on the table for discussion.

I wonder what the taxes will be on weed? How much will you be fined if you grow to many over your allotted amount? Will they slip a rider into the law, if you grow pot on your land this gives them the right to come on your property at any time to see your garden? On and on.

Nothing is ever given back that was taken, unless there is something to gain for the giver.
