I try; a little rough around the edges but still working on it.    :)  I suppose instead of keeping them put away on some USB, I could share them eventually.    Thanks.   Tom

Written while in the Congo, I'll share.....

Tom

The Love of a Lifetime

She adorns the home with eyes of a loving nature;

Her love goes deep, in her heart, she is an angel.

The two are matched like the stars above;

For together, you see, they touch true love.

As air spreads fire, so both will grow;

He steers the rudder; but with a quieter hand, she leads the flow.

She is from Venus, as love is her fame;

He is of Jupiter, a man by his frame.

Her feminine touch, fans the flame of love;

His heart flies far on the wings of a dove.

This love will last, as it’s long over due;

This love comes from God, a gift for just two.

For even in anger, these two can forgive;

This love is theirs and will forever live.

A choice to leave; they dare not ensnare;

To be disloyal, they will not take a dare.

From the beginning, her love was instant;

For he; true love seemed distant.

It took a life time for this love to find;

This love of passion and forgiving in time.

God is love, patience and understanding;

For both; a life of bliss and a miracle from heaven;

A lifetime to share, with God’s own special blessing.

By day the bat is cousin to the mouse.
He likes the attic of an aging house.

His fingers make a hat about his head.
His pulse beat is so slow we think him dead.

He loops in crazy figures half the night
Among the trees that face the corner light.

But when he brushes up against a screen,
We are afraid of what our eyes have seen:

For something is amiss or out of place
When mice with wings can wear a human face.

Gee, I wonder why you even bother to live here if you hate this nation so much. Not surprising coming from a Liberal who would forget 51 MILLION DEAD BABIES that you fight so hard for the right to keep killing through abortion. You must be very proud . . .

Dulce Et Decomrum Est III

    (Part II)

Come & See America, yes please come & see what war is all about from your deeds of vicious  brutality-

Answer the summons of your vile activities via high-tech maniac savagery-

Vist the overflowing morgues & tour  the mass graves filed with broken bodies, stuffed from lifeless, limbless lads & much too young gangly gals with doll-like eyes staring forever into shock & awe that was wrought from your homegrown terror from the skies-

A stiff,bony finger from a tiny hand pointing  from a dried bloody gurney right at you, at your flag, at your cookes sent from conned children in schools,at your war supporters-

Step on up America, each and everyone, for you are all accountable & responsible for these Crimes Against Humanity-

Observe the horror of odious violence that you have exported to hamlets,towns & villages globally-

Fill your nostrils forever with the putrid stenach from the bubbly burnt flesh of innoncent dying & dead-

Listen to  shattered Mothers wail like howling wild animals in utter pain & dispair  as they find jig-saw body parts,taking home the torn, ear, the mangled hand, maybe a foot for family burial-

Gape in shame as heart-broken Fathers sift in silence for missing sons & daughters as they discover their loves buried in

the rubble & debris of your inglorious works and please, if you can, explain eye to eye to the unresponsive moaning orphan as to why your armed forces just murdered his parents whilst his country is a shattered & devastated  graveyard he now inherits-

As your past and present presidents quip about WMD's & predator drones as parlor jokes, ask those noncombatants who suffer casualties 10-1, if they find them so humorous or is the joke on them?-

As your special forces dig out bullets from civilian corpses to cover  their tracks at the wrong address-

As massacred pregnant women at a bridal shower is called an American victory against insurgent terrorists-

For this is Sand Creek,Wounded Knee, My Lai,Falluja, Haditha & other mass media spun great American victoies against  indigenous people fighting for their freedom against an occupying enemy-

Which to no doubt in my mind, Kandahar will be hailed as a great american victory too, of course, rah rah

“To those who have hurt me, you shaped me,
to those who encouraged me, you motivated me,
to those, who are in a rut, you taught me to fly,
To those who controlled me, you taught me freedom.
To those who called me a rebel, you showed me you.
You were right, it’s always right to rebel against the wrong.
To those who rejected me, you taught me love.
To those passive critics who saw the problem in every opportunity,                                            you taught me if I aim for the heaven,                                                                                               I’ll clear earth, and you! ”
