@Tommy, I have noticed that.  I took a lot of art history classes and that was where I first became aware of these metaphors.

I have not been contacted by beings or know anyone who has nor have I seen a UFO.

 TommyD, Holy sh*t I thought I was the only one! I have avoided sites that discuss this or any written materials that deal with this, because I did not want to be influenced by any other input. I actually didn't even have internet until last April. I have a well and burn wood for heat and do not have any plastic money. I pay cash or do without. It has been hard, but very well worth the price.

A friend and I were having a discussion recently and my 14 year old son was listening in. Were were talking about extra dimensional realities and the Nth degree came up. The best way I could describe this to him was the analogy of seeing something out of the corner of your eye, only to turn and look and it is gone. If there is a scientific possibility of a dimension existing at 90 degrees to our own..how many other possibilities does this open up?

I don't really know if you could call it contacted, or.... things being shown to me. But through out my life at different times I have had what some consider premonitions. Things would change before my eyes, I mean literally morph into another view of the same landscape. It used to frighten me, but as time moves forward and things I have seen have come to pass, I have learned to know what they are. One time that still puzzles me happened not to long ago as I sat at my kitchen table. My eyes were tired so I took my glasses off and put the tips of my fingers to my closed eyes, in the black void appeared objects akin to some type hieroglyphs, in a bright almost fire orange glow. It was out of focus like looking through a telescope out of focus. I ignored this and removed my fingers. I thought about this for a second and put my fingers back, I then was shocked to see the same image again. I tried to focus this image in my mind, and it worked. I was so amazed! The first set of images I couldn't remember to write down but the second, and third that came through I copied down. I now have those images tucked away, just in case someday in the future I need them for some unknown reason.
