Thanks, I was looking to make just a little custom rss reader widget and found sprout on a search. When I started looking at their information on their interface and capabilities for creating complex custom widgets I just had to jump right in and PLAY being the tech junky that I am.

Being a Flash developer helped though since they are obviously using an Adobe Flex application which is something very closely related to Flash and operates on many of the same principles. Because of this I was able to jump right in and figure out the interface very quickly even though it should be incredibly user friendly for newbies as well considering how sophisticated it is in what you can do with it.

... and now for something really special.

Check out the Sprout Widget I built today. Includes videos, a slideshow, and the RSS feed for our collective blogs. Let people know what we're all about and reel them in (then I can konk them on the head and steal their wallets, bwahahahahahaha).

Seriously though, to get the embed code just click on the button in the bottom right hand corner. It's a bit on the chunky side I'll admit, even with broadband, but oh so cool. Just use your best judgement on where you include it across the web. Any changes I make will be naturally propagated throughout all copies on the net without having to re-copy the code and re-embed the widget.

Red team,.. go! Blue team,.. go! The NWO will never know what hit them. Poor bastards.

How small do you think it should be? Give me some dimensions you think are appropriate and I'll make up a few.

If anyone else has ideas for banners or maybe needs one in a more appropriate size - like one for a sidebar section of a page or something let me know. Ideas for other kinds of stuff we might be able to use as well.

Personally I like the one with the little kid football player. People are so conditioned to fall in line behind anything that is proclaimed to be "for the children" that it makes for some nice "use your opponents strength against him" counter propaganda kung-fu.

Thanks, they were actually thrown together rather hastily but I sometimes work as a freelance Flash animator/web designer so I'm at least a semi-pro at this sort of thing.

I am pretty pleased how most of them turned out considering how little time I spent on them though.

Thanks, I figured with a bit of variety it's easier to find one that might appeal to different audiences. I might even do some with subtle animations in the future in animated gif format but they take a little more time.

Wow these are awesome. My faves are "Desperate to escape the mainstream media," "Want to know how all the pieces fit," and "What's next!"

I'll use what's next though.
