PLAIN CITY, Ohio -- Two women have been arrested for public indecency during an event hosted by the Girls Gone Wild tour bus at a bar in downtown Plain City Wednesday night.

Plain City Police Chief James Hill told NBC4 that officers were called to Bigelow's Brew House in the 200 block of Bigelow Avenue in downtown Plain City at about 10:10 p.m. Wednesday after state liquor patrol agents witnessed patrons engaging in sexual activity and publicly exposing themselves.

Upon arriving to the scene, officers placed 21-year-old Megan K. Jones, of Bloomingburg, and 35-year-old Kimberly A. Fry, of Marysville under arrest for public indecency.

Hill told NBC4 the department received a tip from another law enforcement agency in Ohio, informing the department that the Girls Gone Wild bus was planning an event at Bigelow's Brew House Wednesday evening.

In an attempt to be proactive, Chief Hill contacted the state liquor patrol to request the help of state agents to monitor the situation.

While inside the bar, agents witnessed several violations and criminal activity and called in officers from the Plain City Police Department for backup.

The Ohio Investigative Unit, a division of the Ohio Department of Public Safety, tells NBC4 a total of three citations were issued. One citation was issued for improper conduct, one citation was issued for public indecency and the third citation was for improper labeling of liquor bottles.

Hill said the bar was not closed Wednesday night.

It has not been determined at this time what repercussions the owner of the liquor license will face.  All criminal proceedings must be completed before the liquor commission can move forward with charges.

Fry and Jones were released at the scene and summoned to appear in Madison County Municipal Court at 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 3.

This was a joint effort between officers from the Plain City Police Department and investigators from the Ohio Department of Public Safety Investigative Unit.
