The problem with Alex is that he cares far too much about popularity. This makes him very very prone to manipulation. His site does not cover half of what it should, most likely due to investors, this is dangerous as well.
Alex jones could be a freedom fighter if he cuts his ties to special interests
I'm telling you folks. If they are allowed to speak to the public then they are a member of the club. By birth or sacrifice. It's a fact.
I use to be a big gung ho Alex Jones fan back in the days. It has only been in the last couple of years that I started becoming turned off by him. It is his delivery of the info that bothers me. It is this loud mouth, egomanical, in your face kind of approach that turns a lot of people off. How are you going to get the majority of Americans listening to you when your always yelling at them at the top of your lungs?
I think he has contributed a lot to the waking up of people through his documentaries and info but his crazy antics and grandiosity are wearing thin with me. I haven't listened into his show for a couple of years now and I really don't miss it. There's other ways to stay informed; like tuning into 12160 for the latest blog posts, discussions and vids ;) And we don't have one leader on 12160, we have many leaders among us :) That's the way it should be imo.
What do I really know about Alex Jones, apart than what has already be eloquently said and mainly by Krypke below, though one thing I do know, is that I wish more people had the balls he's got and especially here in the UK, - Jones can ramble on a little and grind you at times, but hey if he wasn't we wouldn't even be talking about him, and he wouldn't the worldwide name in what he now is. I'm no follower of anyone, just do what I think is right and hope others see that and go with my flow if that's what they want, as no can force anyone to do anthing, and like those whom follow the likes of Jones, Ventura and even David Icke, they know exactly what they are getting...and should go with their flow it that rocks their boat...or sail on by if it don't.
I first became aware of AJ in 1998, when I got dialup; and yes he had done a lot to educate and wake up people, not just in the US, but all around the world.
However, his behaviour in recent years has been detrimental to all the good he has done.
His contemptous attitude to callers and bullhorning over others in the truth movement speaking publicly in Austin are just a couple of examples, that don't endear me to the man.
If I met the man I'd thank him for all the good he had done, but these days I prefer, for the most part, to listen to other patriot/truth radio shows out there.
There is so much info out there, and folks should explore it a way that suits them.
If it feels right to you you accept it, if not you discard it - we certainly don't need AJ to monopolise/ gatekeep it for us.
Don't care for the blowhard myself, I guess the guy started out w/ the best of intentions, but as per the norm, Ego has once again taken over. I used to be in the music biz for a bunch of years, I KNOW ego's, and this ass-clowns got a Huge one. The guy can't be on the air for 10 minutes w/out babbling about himself, then the rants, meanwhile poor callers are on hold for 1-2 hours usually. The never-ending plugs for money gets me too. 1st time I saw this guy was when Waco was getting violated by the criminal ATF in 1993, he was verbally assaulting an FBI agent to no ends. I liked THAT guy, the young, hungry reporter who had attacked an FBI agent w/ words and literally killed this guy with words!!!
That bloated, egomaniac who can't even enunciate the word "Bumper Sticker" w/out sounding like its full of "H's" on the radio today, isn't the same guy I saw in 1993. Goes to show you that power corrupts not only the political elite, but freedom fighters as well. DON"T GET A BIG HEAD!!!....lol
@James, have you ever considered that a big part of Alex Jones' success his because he is provocative?
Anyone as damaging to the establishment as Alex or Ron Paul for example, are not agents of the nwo. It's absurd and entirely counter intuitive.
This is real passion, real fight:
Start with the obvious. 12160 started when a few dozen of us left his infowars network and regrouped on ning. If it was not for the Alex Jones network 12160 would not even exist.
Ron Paul said on the Alex Jones show back in 2007 that he credited Alex Jones radio for providing half of his support base. Not only did I hear him say it live, as I'm guessing others of you did as well, but Alex has talked about that fact ever since. Think about that for a second. Half of the Ron Paul support base -- Alex Jones listeners.
Being a precinct captain for the Ron Paul campaign, I can tell you that most everyone I spoke with among supporters that were aware of the nwo were Alex Jones listeners, many crediting him with waking them up. I've worked on the campaign in different states and it was the same across the board.
Who groomed and woke up Jesse Ventura? Alex Jones. This led to the first ever Conspiracy Theory television program featuring the main subjects of the nwo conspiracy. The first episode breaking all of Court Tv's viewership records for a new series. It was so successful the powers that be yanked it.
Alex Jones woke up Luke Rudowski. WAC has been the freedom movements media attack dog, and set the example for not being afraid of establishment goons and holding them accountable. All modeled after guess who? Alex Jones' approach to ambush journalism as David Gergen so eloquently put it in...
Bohemian Grove.
Who blew Bohemian Grove wide open? Alex Jones. Since then it has been the subject of countless documentaries, everything from independent film to the history channel. That's not counting all of the books that have been written referencing the Grove based on Alex Jones' work.
Been to a Megadeath concert lately? They use to show parts of Terror Storm on the stadium projector. Wonder what the latest is?
Name one person, that has made as many documentaries exposing the NWO, motivated their support base to get them into more hands than anyone else, for free mind you, that has a syndicated talk radio show, six days a week for four hours each day, plus radio interviews, plus, now a nightly news...
Prison Planet and Infowars are in the top ten conspiracy sites for Google, infowars almost on any given day is number one or two. As I recall that was a blog you posted showing the top one hundred sites. Maybe you can dig that up.
I hear what you are saying James. But seriously, who brought you Bilderberg up close and personal? Jim Tucker tracks Bilderballs and then disseminates to whom? Alex Jones.
Just about every major player, or proponent of this "freedom movement" respect Alex Jones and recognize him as the most successful and most effective. With the exception of a few fringe detractors with minimal following nowhere near as proliferate as Alex Jones.
Granted the guy's not perfect. He throws temper tantrums and acts like a wild man. But hey, he's exercising the instincts that have been suppressed in all of us. We all should be enraged, the entire country, at the way our government is, yet people are docile. Something is fundamentally wrong with our perceptions.
Ron Paul trusts Alex. Icke, Maxwell, Freeman, I know Alex and Rense bumped heads, Fritz Springmeier just republished his book and Alex Jones is distributing them is my understanding, The Oath Keepers trust Alex Jones. The list is endless...
@KRYPKE Come on, I know you can do better than throwing out some unverifiable assertion.
I attribute most (of his part in the movement's) success to those whom work for him such as researchers and those others whom contribute articles either penned by themselves or via links on his sites these days.
This is Aj media empire vs Aj the man . The empire may be waking many up but I asked this question about the man.
We seek truth even in the darkest places . Just asking this question angers some people and I see that as a sign of narrow-mindedness verging on cult like behavior.
I am done drinking the kool-aid .
I am not detractor of his efforts just not a listener any more > I am simply interested in the members thoughts. .
Is Alex Jones helping the Freedom Movement? He woke up half the freedom movement. Kind of a clue right there...
I think it is safe to assume, answering "this question sucks" should be counted as a yes
"Destroying the New World Order"
