Back to civil discussion: Trayvon :"Some creepy @$$ cracka is following me! I'm gonna try & lose him!" I briefly review the 911 transcript and did read Zimmerman (Hispanic) do anything but say black male.

Just guessing here but my first thought to this murder is that Zimmerman was an over zealot Community patrol member.  They may have a lot of crime in that community? He may have not like Black people?  may of had a Black girl friend??? I don't know, but he went too far with his perceived duties. It cost a young man his life.

On the flip side but in no way makes what happened ok or right Trayvon may have thought he was living the thug life. May have had bad intent. Or may have just being walking home???

WHO really know for sure?  Or do we just form an opinion based on race? replace Hispanic for White.

NOTE: Only three fully excepted by science Caucasoid Mongoloid Negroid. Everthing else is a mix

It was Trayvon who walked away, or ran away, according to Zimmerman who chased  & caught him, as well as according to the witness.

Not sure where you are getting your info, but it definitely isn't from the evidence that has been admitted in the case so far.

Martin, a Miami native, was visiting his father in Sanford and watching the NBA All-Star game at a house in a gated Sanford community, the Retreat at Twin Lakes. That evening, Martinwalked out to the nearby 7-Eleven to get some Skittles and Arizona Iced Tea. On his return trip, he drew the attention of Zimmerman, who was patrolling the neighborhood in a sport-utility vehicle and called 911 to report "a real suspicious guy."

"This guy looks like he's up to no good or he's on drugs or something," Zimmerman told the dispatcher. "It's raining, and he's just walking around looking about." The man tried to explain where he was. "Now he's coming towards me. He's got his hand in his waistband. And he's a black male...Something's wrong with him. Yup, he's coming to check me out. He's got something in his hands. I don't know what his deal is...These assholes, they always get away."

After discussing his location with the dispatcher, Zimmerman exclaimed, "Shit, he's running," and the following sounds suggest he left his vehicle to run after Martin.

"Are you following him?" the dispatcher asked. Zimmerman replied: "Yep."

"Okay, we don't need you to do that," the dispatcher warned.

Several minutes later, according to other callers to 911 in the neighborhood, Zimmerman and Martin got into a wrestling match on the ground. One of the pair could be heard screaming for help. Then a single shot rang out, and Martin lay dead.

ABC News reports that Zimmerman had wanted to be a police officer, and Sanford police didn't test him for drugs or alcohol after the shooting (such tests are standard practice in homicide investigations).

 Police records show Zimmerman had called 911 a total of 46 times between 2004 and the day he shot Martin. (Florida guidelines for licensed gun owners state: "A license to carry a concealed weapon does not make you a free-lance policeman.")

Ah yes, the 60's music....Not much has changed with the attitudes either. Just more hidden. It is a shame a young black man has died. He didn't need to die if he didn't attack George Zimmerman. People need to think and learn to walk away cause it isn't worth YOUR life to get involved unless you are 100% right and carry a gun with a permit. Or you are a cop or fed.

Even then, with the Justice system the way it is, WE are all lucky it's not worse. We need "new blood" in those Judges positions. They are all getting burned out. Prosecutors LIE for a living to get promoted!

As a former law enforcement officer/federal agent with over 25 years of hard training or not, you have to ask yourself if it was worth it to attack someone who "may" be "armed"???

If you don't consider that, walk away and live to see another day.

In law enforcement, WE are NOT supposed to be attacked, hurt or injured just because we are "public servants"(up to a point) Therefore, it is always up to the "suspect" how far HE wants to get hurt. If he resists, it can be over come legally. If he escalates too far, the cops can escalate farther.(Unless you can prove an illegal arrest like the Saigon Penn case)

Either way, I see that Zimmerman was advised to walk away by some "dispatcher" and he did. That's when Martin attacked him.(BIG MISTAKE!)

I am surprised the Judge is allowing this case to keep moving ....???

The prosecutor has no case.

I have seen this type of stuff before. 

If Zimmerman gets off free, will the blacks riot? If they do, then it is racist. Then I don't care what happens next. People will be shot and the rioters will lose.

Remember the Rodney King incident? Stupid people rioted. People died and were injured and millions of dollars of damage was done. For something that was out of our control.

Rodney later won like $1.2 million dollars in damages on an excessive force case.(Much more damage was done in the L.A. riots by Blacks ........for what??)

Why ruin an honest man's life due to another man's careless mistakes and aggressive behaviors?(A thug or a bad guy, would have shot the suspect and run away) Martin was acting like a "Thug". If you don't own up to the TRUTH, then you are part of the problem in America and everywhere else.
