Zimmerman Prosecution Star Witness Can't Read Letter She 'Wrote'

A teenage friend of Trayvon Martin was forced to admit today in the George Zimmerman murder trial that she did not write a letter that was sent to Martin's mother describing what she allegedly heard on a phone call with Martin moments before he was shot.

In a painfully embarassing moment, Rachel Jeantel was asked to read the letter out loud in court.

"Are you able to read that at all?" defense attorney Don West asked.

Jeantel, head bowed, eyes averted whispered into the court microphone, "Some but not all. I don't read cursive."

And let me be redundant: I can relate to what your are saying. It's not Justice, it's Just Us. And it goes beyond race.

Trayvon was doing nothing more than walking home minding his business. GZ racially profiled him as a drug addicted thug and began to follow/harass him. If you listen to GZ's 911 call you can hear him call Trayvon an asshole, a punk and a coon. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize who was the aggressor, especially with Trayvon running away from GZ and GZ chasing after him. GZ trained at a boxing/kickboxing gym for a year and a half, there's no way a 17 year old kid is gonna beat him up. GZ also has a violent criminal past which includes beating up his fiance and assault on a police officer. He's far from the peace loving pacifist his supporters make him out to be.

Judging from your comments, you believe our frustration is about a non-black person murdering a black person. That's not true, our grievance is in response to the fact that he didn't get arrested for his crime. The police just took his word as the truth, when we all know that if Trayvon's and GZ's roles were reversed Trayvon would've been arrested immediately.

The media frenzy over this case, not the murder it's self, is NOTHING but divide and concur! And we are all to willing.

That's the Black and White of it. Is not Zimmerman Hispanic? Are there not murders every day? Is it not true that most murders of young Black Men are at the hands of the same race?

Where is the attention to this?
