yes, the deceived will automatically accept what is shown without second thought as the crux of the matter 'take-away' immediately becomes ~ in their mind, for topic of the day firearm problem supported by other headlines of mass gun crimes in a number of places. The headlines will be absorbed like a sponge.

Cheeki Kea, Notice how The Washington Post said Floyd was shot?  Most people that read that will accept that it's fact although he was not shot.

You are spot on Parrhesia it is Perception that is exactly what it is. The useful idiots are trained up first and then the Same methods are applied on the general public by msm. The leader idiots truely believe in what they do, being deprived of any and all other relevant info outside of the very narrow range selected. This highly focused tactic delivers Ignorance, a method of manipulation achieved by short-circuiting the stepping stones needed for cognitive reasoning. In the end even facts and details of a known event can become irrelevant in the mind and repurposed to suit an updated consideration or to support a change of topic by way of new headlines. (CRT is one that uses this approach often but there's many outfits doing the same like climate groupies, gun grabbers and health authorities)shot and killed
